STD testing / STD screening lets you check for the presence of a sexually transmitted disease (STD), which is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) with symptoms. An STI is an infection that is spread, mainly by sexual contact with an infected person, when no condom is used during vaginal sexoral sexanal sex, or cunnilingus.

After infection, you may not have STD symptoms. But you can check for an STI by doing STD screening.

Early STD treatment stops further damage to your body, prevents STD transmission to another person, and lets you tell your previous partners so that they can get tested and treated if necessary, thus helping to prevent further community spread of the disease.

We are a walk-in clinic, so during our operating hours, you may just walk in. Kindly hold your urine overnight, or for at least 4 hours prior to arriving at the clinic. After registration, as there may be some waiting for your turn, you can ask the counter for a urine container to provide a first-catch sample of urine.

Consultation is SG$68/=, which includes:

  • Private and confidential discussion of sexual history, symptoms and concerns
  • Genital examination for discharge, blisters, ulcers, growths, rash. Consider trimming or shaving your pubic hair to facilitate a clearer view
  • Provisional diagnosis and sexual risk assessment
  • Discussion of investigation and treatment options
